If you are unable to use your Season Ticket due to long-term sickness, you can return your ticket for a refund from the point your sickness begins.
Refunds can be backdated to cover the period your absence started, provided you can supply suitable evidence, such as a doctor’s note, confirming the period you were unable to travel.
If you are ill and do not use your ticket for a while but later resume travelling, the refund can be backdated to the last day of use, or up to three days if the ticket is returned by post.
When you return to work you can purchase a new ticket for travel.
